Who is Alex? Alexander Spartakov Angelov. He was born on 14th January in Kyustendil - small town in Bulgaria! He started his life as s normal, happy child. When he was 6 years old he started having slight walking difficulties and he was diagnosed for the first time with Muscular Dystrophy Dushen. During the next few years he lost his ability to walk and also the ability to do huge volume of different moves. Alex is currently 17 years old, but despite his illness and all the difficulties he had to go through his is still the same happy, smiling boy. A few years ago the family found a hospital in Israel - Bioccorection. LTD in Tel Aviv, in which, after in-depth research, Alex was offered a treatment against his illness. He has to go to Israel every 6 months for a few years for a therapy. Every single circle, which lasts 2 weeks, costs 9 553 euros! His mother asked the Bulgarian government for help, but they refused her appeal. Unfortunately, it is not simple to collect the amount of almost 10 000 euro every 6 months, that is why Alex took the decision to use his talent to help himself! He started drawing, despite the moving difficulties, and selling his painting. His story is amazing and his spirit is unbeatable. His paintings have been sent on all over the world – UK, France, Germany, Canada, USA ….He is using canvas and oil colours to paint and sell his paintings for 50 leva or 25 euro or 20 pounds. Please help this amazing boy to fight this illness!
